31歲的羅貝卡先天患有俗稱玻璃娃娃的「成骨不全症」，在她小的時候，醫生曾告訴羅貝卡的爸媽，在無協助的狀況，羅貝卡不可能靠自己的力量坐起身或是走路。

但在婚禮當天，羅貝卡決定讓丈夫諾門「永生難忘」。

結婚是每個女生的夢想，但對羅貝卡來說，這天意義更加非凡。

羅貝卡表示，她知道諾門以為她會拿著輔助器走紅毯，所以她打算給他個驚喜。

羅貝卡備受「成骨不全症」的折磨，由於骨頭異常脆弱，羅貝卡從小到大經歷過多次「骨折」，有時候連打個噴嚏都無法倖免。

不過為了給諾門「驚喜」，羅貝卡不只放下輔助器「走」紅毯，甚至在婚禮的第一支舞上起身與諾門共舞，這舉動也再次感動諾門與無數賓客。

羅貝卡表示，雖然這麼做她必須離席一陣子好好躺下來休息，但一切都非常值得。

羅貝卡的母親表示，懷孕期間她就覺得有些不對勁，但卻沒被醫生重視。
